Updated: 23rd September 2020 - Welcome back Ambassadors! Our holiday parks are now open to owners and we're excited to welcome you back to your happy place. We're delighted that many of our facilities are now able to reopen for you to make use of too. More details are below.
Groups of six - The Government has recently stated that as of Monday 14th September 2020, groups larger than six people will not be permitted to gather socially, neither indoors nor outdoors. This includes when subletting your holiday home, as well as guests visiting you at your happy place. By allowing more than six people you will be breaking the law and you may be subject to a fine. Please note, households and support bubbles bigger than six people are unaffected, for example a family of eight who all live together.
Facilities reopening - We're thrilled that the Government has now announced that indoor entertainment is now back! Our entertainment venues are now open from 6pm-10pm every night, with safely distanced family fun and live music. Our Gyms, Reflections Day Spa and swimming pools are also already open! You are now required to wear a face covering when entering or walking through any of our facilities or sales offices.
As a handy guide, this therefore means that the following facilities are open across our parks, all with social distancing measures in place:
Outdoor swimming pools across all our parks (pre-booking required)
Entertainment at Oakdene Forest Park and Shorefield Country Park
Indoor swimming pools* (pre-booking required)
On-site shops across all parks
Launderettes at all of our holiday parks
Outdoor play parks at all parks
Indoor bars and restaurants with table service only, at Oakdene Forest Park and Shorefield Country Park
Outdoor Dining at Oakdene Forest Park and Shorefield Country Park
Gyms at Oakdene Forest Park and Shorefield Country Park (pre-booking required)
Outdoor tennis and football courts at Shorefield Country Park (pre-booking required)
Adventure Golf at Oakdene Forest Park
Food delivery service at Oakdene Forest Park & Shorefield Country Park
Indoor arcades at Oakdene Forest Park and Shorefield Country Park
Reflections Day Spa at Shorefield Country Park (pre-booking required)
*Please note that our saunas and steam rooms remain closed until further notice
For your safety and following Government advice, closures will therefore still apply for our saunas and steam rooms, Go Active+ and Oakdene's Escape Room until further notice.
2020 Ambassador Events - In light of the situation surrounding Coronavirus, we have sadly taken the difficult decision to cancel all our 2020 Ambassadors Events across our parks, including the closing party. This is for your well-being as well as that of our teams in such difficult and uncertain times. If you have paid in advance for any of our owners events, you will receive a credit against your account that can be used in future.
Need to reach us? Please use our LIVE chat function on these pages, where you can speak with the Guest Experience team, ask them any questions you may have or alert us of any problems from the comfort of your own holiday home. Nothing is too much trouble, you just need to ask. They will be available 09:00 - 17:00 and up until 19:00 on arrival days. You can still leave them a message out of hours and they will get back to you as soon as they can!
Should you wish to speak with someone, please phone your park's Reception or alternatively please contact the Park Warden for out of hours assistance.
Our swimming pools across all our parks are now open! To ensure you can safely keep your distance in our pools and gyms, we will be operating a reduced occupancy. Due to this, all sessions will need to be booked in advance. You can book a session here to use our swimming pools, outdoor courts or gyms, up to 48 hours in advance.
Swimming sessions are 45 minutes long and we request that you come ‘swim-ready’ as there will be no changing facilities available in order to minimise the use of shared facilities and high-risk touch points. There will also be no lockers in use so please ensure you bring a bag to safely keep all of your belongings in.
Our tennis courts and football pitch at Shorefield Country Park will also require a pre-booked session. These will be one hour long and a maximum of four people can use the tennis courts per session, or a maximum of six on our outdoor football court.
Introducing our brand new dining and delivery system at Shorefield Country Park and Oakdene Forest Park. Whilst our operations may be a little different to normal, you can still enjoy a 'socially distanced' meal inside or a spot of Al Fresco wining and dining when the sun is shining. If you don’t want to venture out, take advantage of our delivery service straight to your holiday home.
Our new full table service allows you to order food and drinks directly to your safely spaced dining table, so no queuing and more importantly, no contact!
This means we are closed in January and therefore you are unable to stay overnight in your holiday home during this period. You can visit your home during 'working hours' (10am-4pm) to carry out any maintenance. Here is a reminder of each park's opening dates...
Join our private Facebook group, exclusively for owners across all our holiday parks. We hope this will help to keep you informed and easily bring you new information, so you don't miss any announcements. We will of course still be sending out regular communication to all owners via email, in addition to updating any new information here on your Owners Information Portal.
Here is a list of just some of our exclusive benefits for owners:
As of Monday 14th September 2020, groups larger than six people will not be permitted to gather socially, neither indoors nor outdoors.
In doing so, you will be breaking the law and you may be subject to a fine.
You can therefore still enjoy use of your holiday home, as well as having guests visit you or stay in your happy place, provided your group does not exceed six people at any time.
This includes when subletting and it is your responsibility to ensure your guests/private lettings are adhering to this rule. We advise that contacting any private bookings with more than six people due to stay in your holiday home.
Under the new rules our facilities are still permitted to open and therefore you can still make full use of our swimming pools, gyms and restaurants, you simply cannot mix with other households or gather in groups larger than six when doing so.
Please note, households and support bubbles bigger than six people are unaffected, for example a family of eight who all live together.
The following facilities are currently open across our parks, all with new social distancing measures in place:
*Please note that our entertainment venues will be open every evening from 6pm - 10pm with safely distanced family fun.
Face coverings must be worn AT ALL TIMES when entering or walking through any of our facilities. You may remove your face mask once seated at your table within our bars and restaurants, however you must replace your face mask when leaving your table at any time. We also request that all guests wear a face covering when visiting our swimming pool facilities and only remove this when entering the pool area. Children under 11 years of age and those with health conditions or other impairment are exempt from wearing face coverings as stated by the Government.
For your safety we regret that closures will therefore still apply for our saunas and steam rooms, Oakdene's Escape Rooms and Go Active+ until further notice. Unfortunately the Retreat Bar and Gym at Merley Court also remain closed for 2020 Getaways until further notice. You can still get away and enjoy the stunning open spaces, miles of beaches and scenic woodlands on one of our 'Shorefield Getaways' in 2020.
We will keep you updated if the Government make any announcements that allow us to open our remaining facilities sooner.
Holidaymakers may have day guests visit them at the parks, provided your group size does not exceed more than six people in total. We kindly request that social distancing advice is adhered to, leaving at least 2 metres between you and anyone not from your household or support bubble.
All visitors will also need to complete our short track and trace form online when visiting any of our parks.
Following current guidelines, please do not invite members of other households into your accommodation or have social gatherings.
Following latest advice, face coverings must be worn AT ALL TIMES when entering or walking through any of our facilities. You may remove your face mask once seated at your table within our bars and restaurants, however you must replace your face mask when leaving your table at any time. We also request that all guests wear a face covering when visiting our swimming pool facilities and only remove this when entering the pool area.
Children under 11 years of age and those with health conditions or other physical or mental illness, impairment or disability are exempt from wearing face coverings as stated by the Government.
We are also ensuring that all team members across our parks wear a face covering at all times in public areas for your safety and peace of mind. This includes within our restaurants and bars, receptions, shops and walking between any of these areas indoors. Exceptions apply for our entertainers whilst performing on stage, in addition to our lifeguard teams in the pool areas.
As a handy guide, we are therefore asking gusts to wear face coverings in the following areas at our parks:
