With the magnificent New Forest also on your doorstep for walking, picnics and cycling, or just enjoying the wildlife in the forest, the location of Oakdene has it all.
Oakdene Forest has great on-site activities with the Go Active + programme, the activities include water-walkerz, archery, body-zorbing as well as a state-of-the-art gym among the diverse array of exciting ways to get active, and with a large indoor pool, and a seasonal outdoor pool, you’ll be spoilt for choice.
You can also choose to relax in the Acorn restaurant and bar, with a great menu and choice of beer and drinks. The Oak Showbar, is the place to enjoy our wide and varied entertainment programme.

Food & Drink
The Park offers a range of choice for food and drink including the Oak Showbar, which opened in 2015 and the Acorn Bar & Restaurant, with the emphasis here on delicious food and fantastic service in a relaxed, friendly environment.
We offer a first class entertainment programme for adults and children. There is always something for everyone including live music, tribute acts, comedy, illusionists and themed shows from the Entertainments team in the Oak Showbar.

The Acorn Bar also shows Sky Sports & BT Sport providing live coverage for all sporting events.
Oakdene Forest is proud to be the only Go Active + park on the South Coast, this programme is packed full of over 20 activities for all ages which offers plenty of fun family activities from from archery to panna soccer to sea scooters to body-zorbing. Go Juniors is ideal for this aged 3 -7. Go Active + for everyone else. The timetable gives you plenty of options to choose from.
Our VRoom offers an unrivaled Virtual Reality Experience with games for all ages.
There is a fully equipped gym with a wide variety of equipment available (a £2.60 induction fee applies to use the Gym), including free weights, resistance machines, running and cycling machines.
The two Swimming Pools on the park allow you to relax in a lovely large indoor leisure pool, with a shallow area for children to splash about, as well as a slide and “Zorbs” to walk on water, or, during the summer months (weather dependant), our heated, outdoor pool is also open with sun loungers laid around the pool to help you relax in the wonderful South Coast sun.
Both pools have on duty lifeguards to ensure your safety and enjoyment. Access to our pools, bars and entertainment are at no extra cost when you book your holiday through us. The pool timetable can be found here.
Great Days Out
There is so much to do in the nearby beautiful New Forest, from great days out exploring the forest, enjoying the local beaches, or visiting any number of tourist attractions. The surrounding area boasts some of the UK's best scenery and attractions. Our favourites attractions are here.
Nearby Bournemouth, is famous for sandy beaches, piers, attractions and festivals with all the local events included in our Explore & Enjoy section.
For outdoor fun we have outdoor play areas located throughout the park which have slides, swings and climbing frames and a large playing field. There are also plenty of cycle and walking routes for you to explore the area at your own leisure.
In addition Wi-Fi is available in all accommodation, we also have a fully stocked supermarket, an arcade with games for all ages, as well as a Launderette.
