Our background: Spanning three generations, here at Shorefield Holidays we are extremely proud to be a family-run enterprise on the UK's South Coast. With eight parks, both holiday and residential, located across Hampshire and Dorset, each with their own USPs and appealing to varying markets and demographics, we are a growing, forward-thinking business that is committed to ethical and sustainable business practices.

The Shorefield Holidays story began on 4th July 1958 by the late Dr Robert Pollock, when he was unable to find a touring pitch for the family’s annual holiday, he purchased a small caravan park next to a worked-out gravel pit at Milford on Sea and so we were born.

Whether you are looking for a family holiday, romantic short break, luxury retreat or even a spa break, we have all the essential elements to create the perfect holiday in one of the UK’s most popular holiday destinations. We are proud to continually invest in our parks with a focus on exploring and adopting innovative practices and sustainability across the company.

Shorefield Holidays are one of the largest holiday companies based on the south coast of England – a gateway to the tourist attractions that the region offers, the New Forest and the Jurassic coastline of Dorset. As well as providing short breaks and traditional holidays in this stunning corner of the south coast, a core of the family-run business is selling quality holiday and residential homes.

Each of our parks has its own individual character and different facilities and are an easy drive from either the beach or the unique New Forest National Park with its ancient, wild landscape and famous roaming ponies.

We are proud to continually invest

As a business we are always looking for ways to refresh our experiences for both our new and returning guests. Each year we invest significantly across the business in new accommodation and our facilities, ensuring we have the very best to offer all our guests.

In 2024, we launched our first residential park, Merley Court Homes, a haven for serene countryside living in the heart of Wimborne. Set in just over 10 acres within a woodland setting, offering park home living in a private gated development specifically for the over 45's

In 2023 we undertook one of our biggest projects to date, with significant investment in the region of £3 million at Shorefield Country Park, completely renovating our main complex, including a state of the art kitchen, bar and restaurant, new outdoor area as well as entertainment venue and arcade. This was phase one of our plan to upgrade Shorefield Country Park, with more plans to come.

In recent years, we have invested significantly in our luxury accomodation with our unique treehouses, and our new shepherds huts. We are extremely excited to have launched these incredibly unique retreats and have secured a range of National press coverage as a result of this new undertaking.
