Our peaceful and quiet holiday park offers stunning scenery in this beautiful and secluded part of Dorset.
A holiday here is all about enjoying the great outdoors and, with its crumbling castles, rocky clifftop paths, and beautiful beaches, Dorset is ripe for exploring. Swanage Coastal Park has been given the 'Good To Go' mark by Visit England, promoting safer stays.
Back at base, families can opt to holiday in either our caravans or our lodges, some with the added luxury of their own hot tub. Our accommodation offers panoramic views of Swanage Bay and the Purbeck hills, making here the ideal indulgent escape.
Swanage Coastal Park offers a relaxed environment with stunning scenery in a beautiful and secluded part of Dorset. This park is perfect for a South Coast holiday with Bournemouth and Poole right on your doorstep, plus Swanage is famous for its seaside location along the Jurassic Coast.
As testament to our stunning staycations, we are delighted that Swanage Coastal Park received Bronze for Holiday Park of the Year at the 2020 Dorset Tourism Awards (Note: due to the hillside location of the park, it may not be suitable for those with walking difficulties)

Our self-catering accommodation at Swanage Coastal Park offers you a holiday that matches your individual needs at any time of the year.
Our caravans here are available with a choice of either two bedrooms (sleeps up to 4) or three bedrooms (sleeps up to six guests). We also have hot tub lodges for an added touch of luxury. The features and styles vary depending on your choice of accommodation, so we recommend taking a look at each on our holiday search!
For the summer holidays we open Coastal Heights, an area laid out for informal camping, sorry no tourers or motorhomes.
These grass pitches are available in our informal seasonal camping field at Swanage. They are only suitable for tents and available in the school summer holidays. Get back to basics and camp under the stars. This area has no access to an electric hook up.
There are no bars, restaurants or shop facilities at the park but Swanage town centre is just a short stroll away with the wonderful views of Swanage Bay.

Supreme 2
We had a lovely 4 night stay in a supreme 2 bedroom caravan. It was very clean and comfortable. I would certainly stay again. Fabulous walks nearby and a nice walk into town.

Is there wifi? What is the phone reception like?
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available around the parks and inside your accommodation at Swanage Coastal Park, Oakdene Forest Park*, Shorefield Country Park (including Downton Holiday Park), Merley Court Holiday Park and Forest Edge Holiday Park. Complimentary Wi-Fi is also available throughout the main facility buildings across these parks.
There is limited Wi-Fi at Lytton Lawn and Wilksworth.
Please be aware that the Wi-Fi service is suitable for light browsing and checking emails, but during peak times may be limited. Streaming/gaming/video conferencing is not guaranteed.

Mobile phone reception in the New Forest area can sometimes be patchy on some networks but is generally improving over time.
