Enjoy a holiday at Swanage in our caravans or hot tub lodges, some with spectacular views of Swanage Bay or the Purbeck hills. We also have a number of camping and campervan pitches, as well as a glamping pod.

Our self-catering accommodation at Swanage Coastal Park offers you a holiday that matches your individual needs at any time of the year.

We have some serviced pitches for a tent or camper van (sorry no tourers or motorhomes) and for the summer holidays we open Coastal Heights, an area laid out for informal camping.

There are no bars, restaurants or shop facilities at the park but Swanage town centre is just a short stroll away with the wonderful views of Swanage Bay.

You will always get a friendly welcome and local knowledge from the team in reception and Swanage is home to many award-winning restaurants and bars, with even more to be discovered in the surrounding area. Whatever takes your fancy, Swanage always has something to suit your tastes.

You won’t find any bars or club facilities on park, so we can retain the park’s tranquil and natural atmosphere.

Swanage Town offers a vast variety of entertainment for everyone. From the Swanage Blues Festival to Tankfest there's always lots of fun and interesting events to attend and Swanage Coastal Park offers the perfect location and accommodation to explore all these.

The neighbouring park allows access to their heated pool, bar and entertainment for a small daily fee, payable locally.

Lovely break away

We had a lovely time here in one of the caravans. The site has the most beautiful views (just make sure you bring your walking shoes!) Upon arrival the lady at the front desk had a lovely warm friendly smile and made us feel very welcome. Caravan was spotlessly clean!

Frequently Asked Questions

What is included in the price of my Shorefield holiday?

Hopefully everything you need for a great holiday. The price includes access to the bars, restaurants, pool(s), entertainment facilities as well as health and fitness for all members of your party. Treatments at Reflections Day Spa are chargeable as are the VRoom, crazy golf, and Go Active activities at Oakdene Forest Park.

The kitchens are fully equipped with oven, fridge, microwave, kettle, pots, pans, utensils etc, there are no additional charges for bed linen in our self-catering accommodation and the beds are made prior to your arrival, we recommend that you bring towels for your use as these are not supplied. NOTE: Towels are supplied in our Superior and Signature hot tub ranges.

What are your check in and check out times self-catering?

Check in is normally 4pm on the day of arrival. Note: for Signature lodges an houses this is 2pm and for Superior lodge accommodation this is 3pm

Check out is by 10am on the day of departure. Note Sunday departures are at 7pm

Is there wifi? What is the phone reception like?

Complimentary WiFi is fully available around the parks and inside your accommodation at Swanage Coastal Park, Oakdene Forest Park, Shorefield Country Park, Merley Court Holiday Park and Forest Edge Holiday Park.

There is limited Wi-Fi at Lytton Lawn and Wilksworth

Complimentary WiFi is also available throughout the main facility buildings across the parks.

Mobile phone reception in the New Forest area can sometimes be patchy on some networks but is generally improving over time. There is usually no problem at Swanage Coastal Park or Merley Court Holiday Park.

What are your check in and check out times for camping?

Check-in is from 12 NOON on the day of arrival, and Check out is at 10AM on the day of departure.
