Welcome to the latest edition of our team news! This newsletter is our way of keeping you in the loop with quarterly updates on all things team Shorefield. First of all, a very warm welcome to all our new owners at Shorefield Holidays Limited, we are delighted to have you with us.

For those who don’t know us, I’m Sue, the HR Manager, supported by Kneilly (HR Advisor), Kim (Training & Development Manager) and Jacqui (Payroll Officer).

Team Celebrations & Milestones:

This month, we celebrated a fantastic milestone as Ken Dean (OD Estates Manager) and Sharon Dean (OD Complex Manager) marked their 10-year working anniversaries with the company. An incredible achievement, here’s to the next 10 years!

Awards & Recognition:

A huge congratulations to Shorefield Country Park, which has won the South of England Award for Best Family Fun Park. An amazing achievement — well done Team Shorefield!

Team Updates & New Faces:

You may have noticed some new faces across our parks recently.

  • Charlie has moved from Health & Fitness at Oakdene to Shorefield, and has been replaced by Mat.

  • The Sales Team at Oakdene Forest Park welcomed Liam and Steve.

  • Dan joined the ICT Support Team.

  • Shanica joined the Accounts Team.

Please do stop and say hello to our new team members, getting to know one another helps strengthen our teams and our Ambassador community.

As we approach the end of the season, we would also like to wish those who have left the business all the very best in their future ventures.

Training & Development:

Training continues to be a key priority across the business. This quarter alone, we’ve recorded an impressive 1,383 online training courses completed.

We’ve also delivered Sexual Harassment Awareness Training to the majority of the team and will be following this up with additional training in the New Year.

Community & Charity Support:

This quarter has also seen fantastic support for local charities:

  • Claire and Mark (Holiday Homes Sales Team) completed the Lymington Santa Dash in aid of Oakhaven Hospice.

  • Stuart, OD Operations Manager, once again organised the Toy Appeal for the Salvation Army in Poole, delivering 64 presents generously donated by team members, owners, and guests.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed — your kindness makes a real difference.
