Swanage Festivals

What a great summer it’s been, and it isn’t over just yet! Swanage will play host to two unique music festivals over the coming months.

The Swanage Folk Festival, from 6th – 8th September. Our small seaside town will fill up with hundreds of colourful dancers and the town will resonate with the sound of bells jingling, sticks thwacking and excellent music all around. It’s a weekend of folk concerts, street performances, music and dance workshops, all topped off with a Saturday night Ceilidh – a chance for you to dust off those dancing shoes and get ready to strip the willow and swing your partner. Swanage Blues Festival, from 3rd – 6th October. The Swanage Blues Festival brings the distinctive sounds of blues, roots and soul to Swanage’s pubs, bars and music venues. Thousands of blues fans flock from all over the world for this special festival. There’s superb music, drinking, eating, dancing, fun and laughter across the town and beyond, starting on Thursday evening and going on till late Sunday evening.
