We understand that dogs are a part of the family. Which is why our dog-friendly holiday parks here at Shorefield are designed to accommodate the whole family, four-legged friends included. All of our South Coast holiday locations have plenty of dog-friendly accommodation where your dog or pet will feel right at home. There’s room for their basket and toys and the walk begins right at your front door. Selected accommodation even has its own private, enclosed doggy garden and outdoor shower, for washing those muddy paws after a busy day exploring. All we ask is that dogs are kept on a lead whilst walking around the site and are not to be left unattended in your holiday home.
Both Shorefield Country Park and Oakdene Forest Park allow dogs into designated areas of our main complex so that you can sit down and relax with a drink and enjoy a bite to eat.
We allow up to three dogs in all our pet-friendly holiday homes. These are deep cleaned prior to your arrival to ensure a fresh, welcoming environment for you and your pet. As a nation of dog-lovers, our pets are part of the family, so it’s only right that they should come on holiday too!
We have dog and pet-friendly units throughout our accommodation ranges and across our parks.
Designated units in our caravan, lodge and house ranges are dog-friendly, including some of our lodges with relaxing hot tubs, so you can really unwind after all those miles of walking.
Our dog-friendly touring and camping parks offer a wide range of pitch types for your next motorhome, touring or tenting breakaway on the South Coast.

The New Forest National Park
The New Forest is well known for its spectacular heath landscapes, stunning forest trails and free-roaming wildlife. Meet the resident New Forest ponies or, if you're lucky, maybe even some deer!

Go car-free and care-free! The ever-popular New Forest Tour bus is calling at Shorefield Country Park throughout summer to take passengers on a magical journey through New Forest landscapes.
Wonderful peaceful place in middle of New Forest. Everywhere is so clean and tidy . The staff are all friendly and welcoming. There are some lovely walks in the forest. The whole place is very dog-friendly.

What more can you ask for!
It’s a great campsite with lots for the children to do. Lovely park, pool and a nice secure paddock for the dog to play in. Showers and toilets were clean and tidy. What more can you ask for! A cracking little street food burger van came on the Tuesday and served homemade and superb tasting food.

Perfect spot for dog walks
Just had a lovely weekend. The caravan was clean, cosy, well equipped and spacious. Hot tub was lovely. If you have dogs, the forest is literally across the road and you can walk for miles. We had a great relaxing time and our dog is exhausted from the lovely forest walks.

Thanks to all the Oakdene staff
Just had a lovely family weekend at this park. We had three statement caravans, all clean, modern and very comfortable. Two for family members with dogs, so it was nice to be able to bring the dogs along. Dogs seemed welcome everywhere. We all loved The Acorn restaurant.
