Frequently Asked Questions

Are prices per person or per holiday?

Prices are for the holiday, for the full duration of your stay, but there is a limit (sleeps x) to how many people can stay in each type of accommodation. Please only take into account all people over the age of two when calculating accommodation berths.

If your holiday is more than 4 weeks away you only need to pay a deposit, which is clearly displayed in the bookings process.

Due to COVID-19, what facilities will be open?

We were delighted to safely open the following facilities across our parks after the first lockdown, all with new social distancing measures in place. Unfortunately, due to the regularly changing tier system, it is not yet clear whether we will be permitted to open all of these immediately once our parks reopen for the new season in 2021, however we remain hopeful:

  • Entertainment venues at Oakdene Forest Park and Shorefield Country Park*
  • Indoor bars and restaurants with table service only, at Oakdene Forest Park and Shorefield Country Park
  • Outdoor Dining at Oakdene Forest Park and Shorefield Country Park
  • Indoor Swimming Pools at all parks
  • Outdoor Swimming Pools at all parks
  • Tennis & Football Courts at Shorefield Country Park
  • Indoor arcades at Oakdene Forest Park and Shorefield Country Park
  • Adventure Golf at Oakdene Forest Park
  • Food delivery service at Oakdene Forest Park & Shorefield Country Park
  • On-site shops across all parks
  • Launderettes at all of our holiday parks

Please note that the above are all subject to the Government's tiering system assigned to each individual park.

For your safety we regret that closures will therefore still apply for our saunas and steam rooms, Oakdene's Escape Rooms and Go Active+ until further notice. Unfortunately the Retreat Bar and Gym at Merley Court also remain closed until further notice. You can still get away and enjoy the stunning open spaces, miles of beaches and scenic woodlands on one of our 'Shorefield Getaways'.

We will keep you updated if the Government make any announcements that indicate whether we will be permitted to re-open our facilities and any changes that may take place.

Due to Coronavirus, if I don’t want to arrive for my holiday can I get a refund?

All 2020 and 2021 holidays booked with us are covered by our Booking Guarantee.

If our parks are forced to close, any holiday arriving during our closed period can be moved free of charge or receive a no-quibble refund.

Should the Government issue a local lock-down in your area, meaning you cannot travel to our holiday parks, you can move your booking to an alternative date free of charge* or receive a full no-quibble refund. We will happily action this within 4 weeks of your arrival**.

If you are contacted by Track and Trace and are required to self-isolate or test positive for COVID-19, you can move your booking free of charge to an equivalent date†, or receive a full no-quibble refund, provided you give us between 4 weeks’ notice and up until 3 days prior to your arrival. Alternatively, you may move to any alternative date and pay any additional holiday premium where applicable†

†Charges may apply if your holiday is moved to a date with an increased tariff period. Please check our Booking Guarantee page for details of alternative dates available. Any holidays outside 4 weeks of arrival are bound by our normal T&Cs.

How do I get 20% off my holiday as part of your 2021 Holiday Sale?

We'll automatically apply the discount for your holiday on any booking made between the 23rd December and 31st January! Just use our holiday search as usual to look for your ideal getaway on your chosen dates and we'll show you the reduced price, including the 20% off!

Please be aware that the balance of your holiday must be paid in full by 31st March 2021 to receive the full 20% off as part of this sale.

Any holiday with an outstanding balance after this date will revert to the original holiday price, which must then be paid 4 weeks prior to your arrival date.

Valid for new bookings only. Includes camping and touring pitches in addition to all our self-catering accommodation. Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
