Autumn in Hampshire & Dorset

Autumn is a beautiful time across the New Forest, the best conditions for the best fall colours is with sunny cool days and chilly nights, so once you've enjoyed the fall colours come back and relax in your private hot tub.

How about Pannage? Pannage is the practice of releasing pigs into the forest and dates back to the time of William the Conqueror.  You can normally find the pigs roaming the forest floors from around the third week in September for 60 days, they are released to eat the acorns, as they fall from the trees as the acorns are harmful to the New Forest ponies.
