Shorefield Holidays

Two carved pumpkins glow in the darkness, one with a classic grinning face and the other with a playful wink and smile. Both are surrounded by fallen leaves on the ground.

Halloween fun at Oakdene Forest Park

Things are getting seriously spooky at Oakdene, with a packed programme of Halloween activities and entertainment planned throughout the school holidays.

Little monsters can get stuck into pumpkin carving, ghoulish slime and Monster Training Camp, create their own cuddly companion at Stuff a Spooky Friend, or discover something new at our Mad Science Workshop.

Complete the Shorefield Spooktacular Seven

Think you can complete or Halloween challenge?

Running throughout October Half Term, the Shorefield Spooktacular Seven will send guests on a mission to collect seven spooky tokens from around the park.

Pick up your collector card from Reception or the Entertainment Team and start your challenge. You can collect tokens by joining in with selected Halloween activities, taking part in Halloween Bingo Beats and tracking down members of our Entertainment Team.

Halloween party nights

Get your costumes ready because we’re going BIG for Halloween this year.

Join us on Saturday 24th, Thursday 29th and Saturday 31st October for three Halloween nights packed with entertainment, games, music and plenty of spooky surprises.

Making its debut for 2026 is Fright Night: The Showdown, our brand-new Halloween show.

You can also take on the team in a special Halloween edition of Beat the Entertainer – our big family gameshow where, if you manage to beat our entertainers, they’ll have to face the forfeit!

Across our Halloween nights, look out for:

  • Kids’, teenagers’ and adults’ fancy dress parades

  • Best Dressed Table competitions

  • Halloween Bingo Beats

  • Stilt walkers and LED dancers

  • DJ Rolling Bones Live!

And if you’re staying with us on Thursday 29th or Saturday 31st October, bring the decorations too. We’ll be searching the park for the Best Dressed Caravan, so it’s time to give your holiday home a suitably spooky makeover!

A group of six children in costumes stands together, smiling for the camera. The first child wears a black dress with a red cape, the second is dressed as a princess in a white gown with a tiara, followed by a girl in a black outfit. The next child is dressed as a superhero in a gray camouflage outfit, then a child in a red and black outfit, and finally, a child in a Captain America costume. Each child holds a candy bucket. In the background, adults are seen socializing.
