Shorefield Holidays Ltd is one of the South Coasts leading holiday park groups and we have a fabulous opportunity to join our team as our HR Advisor.

Job Description

With focus on delivering proactive HR support and advice on all aspects of employee relations, enabling fair and consistent application of HR procedures and processes throughout the business, this is an ideal opportunity for anyone with a passion for HR.

  • Excellent communication and people skills with the ability to build strong working relationships at all levels

  • Calm whilst working under pressure with the ability to multitask, handle conflict and resolve difficult situations

  • Ability to build strong working relationships at all levels

  • IT literate & Payroll knowledge

  • Strong influencing and coaching skills

  • Driven with the ability to work un-supervised at times

  • Passion for engagement & wellbeing

  • Hold a full UK Driving Licence

  • 40 hours p/week however additional hours as required dependent on business needs

  • A requirement to cover other parks / work at different locations

Responsibilities

Your duties will include

  • Advise managers in the application of all policies including absence management, capability, performance management, disciplinaries & grievances

  • Payroll, Recruitment and L&D

  • Production of accurate and timely management information as required

  • Drive the culture of the business with focus on employee engagement and wellbeing

  • Involvement in more complex HR queries

  • To set a professional tone and standard throughout the group

  • To keep up to date with changes in employment law and legislation and advise on their impact on the group

  • Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, directives and regulations

  • To act on such changes, write new HR policies and ensure HR documentation remains legal and compliant

  • Complete project work as required

  • Be involved in sourcing commercially viable solutions for employee rewards and benefits throughout the business

  • To perform any other duties as required by the company to ensure the successful and efficient running of the business

Qualifications

Qualifications required

  • CIPD qualification required - Level 5 or equivalent foundation degree

  • Driving Licence (required)
