In between seasons, we have been busy working on lots of refurbishments throughout our accommodation range and facilities in preparation of the opening of all parks. We also have one of the largest ranges of holiday homes for sale, with exciting new models arriving each week, for those who think 2022 may be the year to purchase their very own holiday home away from home. Plus our local community has always been tantamount to our business purpose and we’re looking forward to developing these relationships further.

Giving back: UK tourism impact, local employer, green credentials, Dr Pollock academy

We’re proud to continually invest in exploring and adopting innovative sustainable practices with a focus on community, volunteering and fundraising, reducing consumption of single-use plastics and employee health and wellbeing.

The Dr Pollock Academy is an innovative training academy which recognises excellence and develops tourism and leisure leaders of the future. The scheme is leading the way in the tourism industry by providing training and recognition to nominated staff. Named in honour of the company’s founder, the Dr Pollock academy was set up to recognise and nurture outstanding employees. The academy celebrates the success of award winners – nominated by park managers and peers - at a glittering gala awards dinner every year.

Giving back to and championing the local community is an important part of our ethos. Local charity work is front of mind and children’s charities, such as The Knights Foundation and Hannah’s Holiday Home Appeal, both own lodges at Shorefield Country Park where children and their families are able to holiday. The luxury Knights Foundation Lodge provides respite care for families with disabled or seriously ill children, with a spacious outdoor deck area, wet room and state of the art wheelchair ramps and hoists.

Sourcing local produce is also key to our company values and we are a proud member of the New Forest Marque, a local supplier of New Forest goods which is used in the majority of our onsite bars, cafes, restaurants and shops. We have locally sourced food and drink on our menus and at Shorefield Country Park, some incredible local suppliers such as New Forest Tonic, Beachcomber Gin, and Ringwood Brewery are included.

An exclusive community of boutique lodges on the edge of both the New Forest National Park and the beach at Milford-on-Sea, the New Forest Lodge Retreat has a limited number of luxury boutique lodges for sale.
