October Half Term is one of our favourite times of year. As the leaves turn golden the stage is set for a fang-tastic array of Halloween events.

Pumpkin Picking

A traditional pastime that everyone enjoys, pumpkin picking is a must-do throughout autumn and Halloween. With plenty of 'Pick Your Own' farms throughout the New Forest and Dorset, this is a must-do for Halloween!

Halloween at Paultons Park | Thursday 17th October - Monday 4th November

Halloween at Paultons Park is a fang-tastic day out for everyone. This half term the spooky shenanigans include spooky wild west decorations in Tornado Springs, fancy dress competitions, over 10,000 pumpkins! There's even late night opening on selected dates so you can enjoy the rides in the dark, The Legend of Paultons Manor spooky show, plus you can meet Peppa and George in their eerie outfits too.

Halloween at Exbury Gardens | Monday 28th - Sunday 3rd November

Head down to Exbury Gardens for a frightfully good Halloween in the great outdoors. This year's activities include a gruesome garden trail, pumpkin carving, Halloween face painting and guest favourite the Exbury Ghost Train.

Halloween at Hurst Castle | Saturday 26th - Sunday 3rd November

Muster up the courage and visit Hurst Castle this October half term. This fearsome fortress was built by King Henry VIII, who is famed for having six wives – are you brave enough to descend deep into our basement and escape our Henry VIII and his Six Ghosts Maze! All activities are included in your castle admission.

As always, there's a fantastic Halloween entertainment programme at Oakdene Forest Park, Shorefield Country Park & Lytton Lawn.

We'll have activities to get involved with throughout half term, Including spooky themed woof's workshops like Pumpkin Carving, Halloween Stuff-A-Bear, Frankenslime's Laboratory, and our Halloween Party. These activities are bookable on our website here for Oakdene and here for Shorefield.
