We have a couple of parks for camping, touring and glamping including Wilksworth Park close to Poole/Bournemouth and Lytton Lawn Touring Park just by New Milton. Each park has its own flair and will quickly dissipate the urban chaos from back home as you arrive so you can focus on the unwind and reconnecting with nature.

Walking in the Wild at Wilksworth Caravan Park
Offering touring and camping pitches in the heart of Dorset’s countryside, Wilksworth offers more than just pitching up a tent. The surrounding area and spectacular countryside allow for a full adventure during your stay. With the beautiful Cranborne Chase, historic New Forest, and Hardy Country all on your doorstep, you’ll be able to immerse yourself in the tranquil surroundings. Pack your walking boots and explore a multitude of trails, from shorter walks with young children to longer walks along a stretch of landscape to breathe deeply and you’ll quickly find you’ve racked up plenty of those daily recommended steps.
After that hearty fresh air and exercise, treat yourself to a touch of gastro tourism down the road in Knobcrook at some of the local pubs and restaurants like The Coach and Horses, which has a great atmosphere, classic pub food and a delightful beer garden ready for the summer months.
Then end your day back on park, with the family huddled around a campfire and stove back at the campsite. Get stuck into stereotypes like roasting marshmallows and making smores, get a blanket around your shoulders and get the singing going too! Lazy days and kicking back at Lytton Lawn Touring Park
Set in acres of peaceful tree-lined land, Lytton Lawn Touring Park is perfect for campers looking for a slower pace in life to grab some vitamin sea and explore this stunning stretch of the south-coast.
Just a short distance from the coastal town of Milford-On-Sea, campers are also close to beautiful beaches and an array of pubs, bars and restaurants in the town. Lytton is also super close to our main site, Shorefield Country Park (SCP), and visitors to this park can use all the facilities on SCP during their stay. This includes an onsite bar and restaurant, The Beachcomber which is also dog friendly with its pooch corner, a gym and swimming pool as well as a small convenience store with lots of local and fresh produce.
You really can take it easy though with leisurely mornings a plenty as Lytton Lawn offers freshly baked breakfast goods on park including breakfast filled baps and other delicious treats to start your day the right way. As we come into spring/summer we also come into BBQ season, which is a no brainer when camping.
Styling it out in our Shepherd Huts
If traditional camping isn’t for you and you need a bit of glamour around the idea of sleeping ‘out in the wild’, why not try the Shepherd Huts on Wilksworth Park, which occupy an idyllic spot tucked away in a private corner beside breathtaking views to step out to each morning.
