Paw-some breaks: Enjoy a pet-friendly escape with Shorefield

We understand that pets are very much part of the family, so it’s only fitting that they should come on holiday too! What’s more, pets go free on all holiday bookings for this year, made before 30th June.

Our paw-some parks are designed to accommodate the whole family, canine companions included. And what’s more, “walkies” start right from your front door. With direct access to miles of woodland, the historic New Forest National Park and the stunning Solent coastline all on your doorstep, there’s no better home-away-from-home for you and your dog.

At Shorefield Holidays we offer a range of dog-friendly caravans, lodges and houses; the perfect base for anyone looking for a relaxing staycation, and an ideal spot to relax and unwind after a day of walking through the beautiful natural surroundings.

Both Shorefield Country Park and Oakdene Forest Park both welcome dogs into designated areas of the main complexes, so you can enjoy a drink or a bite to eat after a day of adventure. Our newly launched restaurant and leisure complex, The Beachcomber, even has a dog-friendly section called Pooch Corner with a dedicated dog menu, serving a range of meal options from breakfast to dinner. There’s even a Sunday Roast for furry friends to enjoy!

Pet Friendly Holiday Accommodation

We’re very proud of our local landscapes and the nearby scenery is certainly not to be missed. The walks around Shorefield Country Park, for example, are magical! The Ancient Woodland Trail is a picturesque option, located just on the coastline of Milford-on-Sea beach, which has been called ‘dog heaven’. If you keep walking along the beach for 45 minutes you will arrive at the majestic Hurst Castle, a seafront artillery fort built for Henry VIII.

With a Shorefield holiday, you’ll find that most of our parks are surrounded by woodland which is ideal for entertaining your four-legged friends, including Oakdene Forest Park and Forest Edge Holiday Park.

Besides the vast number of trails and routes to explore on foot, you can also enjoy other dog-friendly excursions during your stay.

Dog On Decking Pet Friendly

Dogstival, held every year in the New Forest National Park, is another must do for you and your pooch. The event is packed with canine approved entertainment; from a doggy model competition, to performances on the Hound Dog stage, to food and drink stalls (suited for both owners and dogs!). So book a Shorefield holiday for your summer break to delight the whole family this year - pets and all!
