2023 Entertainment at Shorefield
Here at Shorefield, as well as stylish accommodation, bars, restaurants, a serene day spa and adventurous outdoor activities, we also offer wonderful live entertainment for guests of all ages.
Taking place on both Shorefield Country Park and Oakdene Forest Park, our brand new calendar of acts for 2023 range from a recipient of the Britain’s Got Talent’s golden buzzer, to one of Meatloaf’s vocalists, to Basil Brush. No booking is required to attend, so there’s plenty of fun to be had on your next visit without any restrictions.
Also new for 2023 is Rock In Concert, where guests can enjoy their favourite classics from Bon Jovi, Bryan Adam, AC/DC - we want our guests to feel as though they’re at a proper rock concert! There’s also Queen and Taylor Swift tribute acts playing crowd hits throughout the summer months to enjoy.
Beyond our new programme of events, the weekly Let's Go Nuts! show is on most Fridays, with lovable children’s characters and Let’s Go Live! On Saturdays. There’s never a dull moment at Shorefield!
Lorraine Crosby Band
(August 4th , August 5th)
You could have the chance to experience the Lorraine Crosby Band at either Shorefield Country Park or Oakdene Forest Park this year. British singer songwriter and female vocalist of Meat Loaf’s hit single 'I'd Do Anything For Love', Lorraine will wow the crowd with her fabulous performance of country music and covers of other big hits.
Straight Circles
(14th April)
This four piece voice and instrumental band will be taking the stage to perform a variety of music from the 60s to modern day originals and covers. The band can be seen at a number of events and festivals but their music will be at your disposal for a day in April so if you’re staying with us around then, don’t miss out.
Nathan Moore
(May 5th, May 6th, August 11th, August 12th)
Previous lead singer of boyband, Brother Beyond, Nathan Moore will be performing at Oakdene and Shorefield Country Park in May and August this year. Allow yourself to soak in the pop, soul and dance music that the whole family can enjoy.
The Smurfs
(May 6th)
This May we’re joined by Papa Smurf and Clumsy Smurf for the most Smurftastic show where you will be smothered with lots of song, dance and audience participation. You will be able to meet and greet the characters at the end of the show and even have your photo taken with them if you wish.
Basil Brush
(June 17th)
We will be visited by the UK’s favourite fox, Basil Brush for one day and one day only this year, so make sure to book ahead of your visit if you’re staying with us towards the end of June. Basil has appeared at Glastonbury and Wychwood festival and is back on tour this year. He will be here to entertain you at Shorefield Country Park so don’t miss out! Maybe you could even get his autograph!
The Sooty Show
(May 13th, September 2nd)
Occupy your little ones with the most nostalgic British children’s TV character, Sooty at our very own Sooty Show held on Shorefield Country Park and Oakdene Forest Park. The famous puppet magician and his friends will entertain your kids for ages with their sketch-based, slapstick comedy stories. Sooty, Soo and Sweep will all be in attendance providing you with a fast-paced, laugh out loud show with plenty of audience participation.
Rastamouse
(June 3rd)
This year at Oakdene Forest Park you could be joined by your favourite Cbeebies crime fighting mouse band, Da Easy Crew. This performance consists of a 30 minute choreographed set followed by a meet and greet with all 3 characters! The whole family will be mesmerised as Rastamouse, Scratchy and Zoomer take you on an adventure.
The Arg Band
(April 7th, April 8th)
James Argent (The Arg Band), famous from the hit show 'The Only Way is Essex', is joining us for two nights only this April! Expect outstanding live music from the vibrant and unique band that will make your evening on park truly memorable.
