Wimborne Annual Duck Race

Did you know Wimborne holds an annual duck race in aid of Wimborne in Bloom? This super fun event takes place on the River Allen on Saturday 24th August, and this year marks the 24th annual race in aid of Wimborne in Bloom, who keep our area looking beautiful. https://www.wimborneinbloom.org.uk/

The ducks will be launched into the river at the bottom of Mill Lane, beside the Riverside Café, by kind permission of The Slocock Trust and cross the finishing line beside the garden at the back of the Rising Sun in East Street.

Grab yourself a duck for £1 outside Co-op or Waitrose on Thursday 22nd, Friday 23rd and again on Race Day itself Saturday 24th August and enter yourself in the race to be in with a chance of grabbing a cash prize.
