Introducing Our Brand-New Pickleball Court! 🏓
We’re excited to share some smashing news from Wilksworth Caravan Park – our brand-new Pickleball Court is now open and ready for action!
Whether you're a seasoned player or totally new to the game, pickleball is a fun, fast-paced sport that’s easy to learn and great for all ages. It's the perfect mix of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong – and it’s quickly becoming popular!
🏸 How to Get Started:
- Book the Court: Visit Reception to reserve your time slot. Court hire is £8 per hour.
- Need Equipment? No problem! You can hire paddles and balls directly from Reception.
- A £10 cash deposit is required for equipment hire.
- If you don’t have cash, we’ll need a bank card or valid ID as a deposit instead.
- All Ages Welcome – perfect for families, friends, or anyone up for a bit of fun and fitness.
🎯 A Few Quick Rules:
- Games are typically played 2 vs 2, but singles work too!
- Serve underhand and diagonally.
- Only the serving team can score points.
- The ball must bounce once on each side before volleys are allowed.
- Avoid the “kitchen” (non-volley zone) unless the ball bounces in it.
