Shorefield Holidays Awarded Management Team of the Year

Celebrating the top private, independent companies in the region, the Solent 250 Awards were held at Southampton's Harbour Hotel. Our management team were commended for their passion for the business and the staff they are responsible for. It was this which really impressed the judging panel and earned us the title, of which we're immensely proud.

On the night a spokesman from the night's sponsor, HSBC, said "This company is acutely aware that retention of staff and wowing customers is integral to the future success of their business. Management and staff are equally obsessive about acting on customer feedback and continually seeking to improve the quality of the services they offer.

"The senior management have never avoided tackling and making big bold decisions regarding the future direction of the company. They champion change and work tirelessly to develop strong relationships with their staff encouraging an open and honest dialogue with every employee regardless of grade or tenure. Department leaders are empowered to make decisions locally and are encouraged to incentivise staff to quickly recognise excellent customer service and acknowledge when people go the extra mile (which they regularly do!)
