A lot has changed in 66 years, and today we are celebrating our 66th anniversary since our humble beginnings in 1958! From a small holiday park next to a dug out quarry pit at Milford on Sea to a thriving group of 8 holiday parks across Hampshire and Dorset, we have come a long way!

Shorefield Holidays was founded on 4th July 1958 by the late Dr Robert Pollock. When he was unable to find a touring pitch for the family’s annual holiday, he purchased a small caravan park next to a worked-out gravel pit at Milford on Sea and so the company was born. For 18 years, the business was in fact run as a side line to Dr Pollock’s main career as a General Practitioner in Bedford. When he retired from medicine, Dr Pollock moved to Milford and in the 1970’s the present Directors, his children, joined the company.
We are proud to have remained a family-run business as we believe our core family values are what have served us so well over the years to grow the business into the successful venture it is today. It is also due to the hard work and efforts of our staff, and loyalty from our customers that allows us to grow year on year.
We now provide a huge range of holiday accommodation including fully-equipped caravans, cosy lodges with hot tubs, luxury houses and stunning tree houses, as well as touring and camping pitches. Our Hampshire and Dorset locations offer our holiday guests an extensive range of leisure facilities and activities, not to mention a huge variety of restaurants, bars and retail outlets.
