October Half Term at Oakdene Forest Park: A Spooktacular Family Escape!
This October, Oakdene Forest Park is transforming into a magical Halloween experience—filled with thrills, chills, and fang-tastic family fun! Whether you’re a little ghoul, a fearless adventurer, or just love a good pumpkin party, there’s something here for everyone.
From spooky crafts and creepy challenges, to dazzling evening entertainment. The whole family is in for a frightfully enjoyable time! So, dust off your costumes, round up your little monsters, and join us for a Halloween celebration packed with laughter, excitement, and just the right amount of spookiness. You won’t want to miss it!

- Perfect for your little monsters and big kids alike! (all must be pre booked) 25th 29th Oct & 1st Nov.
- Trick-or-Treat Breakfast Bash –10am in the Showbar
Start your spooky day with a Halloween-themed pancake feast or cooked breakfast—plus a live Halloween character show from the Squirrel Squad!
- Ghoulish Slime – 11:30 woofs workshop
Get hands-on and messy by creating your own spooky slime with frightfully fun Halloween extras.
- Monster Training Camp – 26th 28th Oct 10am in the Showbar
Craft your own Halloween mask and join Monster Academy to become the ultimate little monster.
- Pumpkin Carving – From 11am various sessions throughout the day in the Showbar
Carve your very own glowing jack-o’-lantern to light up the spooky season.
- Pumpkin Pottery Painting- 12:30pm in woofs workshop
Decorate your own ceramic pumpkin to take home as a Halloween keepsake.
- Halloween Party Adventure 29th only 2:30pm in the Showbar

👻 Halloween Fancy Dress & Best-Dressed Caravan Competition
- Fancy Dress Parades for kids and adults: 7pm on the 25th, 29th, and 31st
- Best-Dressed Caravan Contest: Amel will tour the park at 4pm on the 29th—winners announced in the Showbar that evening!

How to play:
- Pick up a collector card from Reception or the Entertainment Team.
- Earn tokens by joining in on activities:
