Swanage Festivals

Swanage is a one-of-a-kind town, and it’s home to some truly special events you won’t find anywhere else! This month will see the town kicking off the summer festival season with two truly unique events.

Swanage Pirate Festival Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th May

Invading the beach and taking up post at Sandpit Field, the pirates are back in Swanage for another weekend of swashbuckling shenanigans and skirmishes. There’ll be living history encampments at Sandpit Field including musket and cannon practice, along with craft stalls, face painting and food & drink stands.

Swanage Fairy Festival Friday 30th & Saturday 31st May

The Fairy Festival will be making a huge splash again this year, you will be mesmerized with the spectacular live mermaid show, and so much more. There will be lots; from face painting to Unicorn rides, plus wonderful stalls selling beautiful magical gifts! Carefully selected local food, Bars selling local beers and gin cocktails and Mermaid Juice.
