Dear Shorefield Country Park Ambassadors,

Check out this Giant Puffball mushroom modelled by one of our gardeners, John. This was found on Shorefield Country Park! The giant puffball is usually found in and around open woodland and is one of the safest mushrooms in the UK, with the only look-a-like being a football when spotted from afar.

You are sure to spot more around park due to all the rain we’ve been having, it’s looking like a good year for fungi!
