Closing Dates
It’s that time of the year when you’re getting ready to pack down your holiday homes for the winter closure period.
Oakdene Forest Park will close for the season on Wednesday the 1st of January 2025 and will reopen again at 10am on Saturday 1st of February 2025.
Forest Edge will close on Sunday 5th January 2025 and reopen at 10am on Wednesday 5th February 2025
Wilksworth for those owners with the extended licence will close Tuesday 16th January 2025 and reopen Saturday 1st March 2025
You're welcome to visit your holiday homes for the purpose of carrying out any maintenance and refurbishment works during these dates but only between the hours of 10am and 4pm please make sure you sign in with the reception team.
Helpful tips.
- Place a bowl of salt in your holiday home to remove moisture.
- Remove all valuables and leave curtains open.
- Turn your mattresses on their sides to prevent any moisture settling.
- Remove all items from your fridge/freezer and leave the door open with the power off and a towel on the floor.
As part of our park operator’s licence our wardens will carry out park patrols to ensure that nobody is on park after 4pm as not to cause any breaches. As all homes should be unoccupied it helps the wardens to ensure the parks security and safety by flagging up anyone that should not be on park.
May I also remind you that you are not permitted to leave any vehicles on park during the closure period.
