Gas Tank Change Over

Some of you may have already noticed that we have some shiny new gas tanks, stored on Dane Park at Shorefield Country Park. I thought I would let you know why they are there.

We are in the process of changing gas supplier from Calor to Avanti for all of our above ground gas tanks across the estate.

These works will commence in June and will run through and into July across the parks. The works will be undertaken by Avanti Gas and should cause no disruption to your gas supply, as Avanti will manage the changeover, which should be seamless.

The Shorefield outdoor pool tanks will be replaced on the 20th and 21st May and the Oakdene tanks at Poppy and Violet will be replaced during the first two weeks of June.

As you can imagine the changeover process is complex, with some heavy machinery operating in and around the tank locations. Whilst Avanti will take the responsibility for tank changeovers, I request that you avoid the areas in which they are working, so that they can complete their work as safely and efficiently as possible.
