Hannah’s holiday home is a charity set up in memory of Hannah Westbrook, who died of cancer aged 10, the charity provides luxury breaks for the families of children who are seriously ill. Hannah’s mum Pam Marshall has now opened a third holiday home at Shorefield Country Park on what would have been Hannah’s 21st birthday, Saturday 14th March. She said: ‘We’re doing this because we’ve had so many bookings we’ve had to book extra units on the site to accommodate everyone. ‘We’re inundated with requests because there are so many families that need this service. ‘It’s really sad that so many people need us but, at the same time, it’s wonderful to be there for them. ‘Over the years people have supported us brilliantly, and we can’t thank them enough. But we really need everyone’s help again to make this dream a reality.’

The opening ceremony was very well attended with the Mayor of Gosport presiding over the event and cutting the ribbon. To mark Hannah’s 21st and the opening of the lodge coloured balloons were released many of which had personal messages attached to them.
