Charity of the Year
Each year we choose a charity to focus our fundraising efforts on for the coming year, we are delighted to announce that our Charity of the Year for 2023 is Oakhaven Hospice.

Oakhaven Hospice is a pillar of our local community and very close to our hearts at Shorefield Holidays, with members of our team and their families, past and present, having been supported with palliative care, life limiting illnesses and all that it entails.
One of our Board of Directors Lesley Lawrence and her son Bobbie Lawrence, our Customer Experience Manager, lost their husband and father, Anthony, in November last year and Oakhaven provided amazing support to Anthony and whole Lawrence family.

We have already made a great start on our fundraising with proceeds from our Coronation parties across the parks being donated and a whole host of other charity events planned for the year ahead, to keep the momentum going and raise as much as we can. There will be charity golf days, bike rides, cake sales and even a group of our staff daring to take on the 100-metre descent down the side of Portsmouth’s iconic landmark, Spinnaker Tower in the Oakhaven Abseil Challenge.
As well as all of our teams efforts to raise money, we also encourage our guests to donate when booking their holiday. For every £1 donated at the checkout, guests will receive one entry into our fantastic prize draw to win a short break for up to 6 people in one of our magical luxury treehouses.
