We win again and again and again!

We were extremely proud to scoop three awards at the prestigious Beautiful South Tourism Awards 2022

We are thrilled that we won 3 awards at the prestigious 2022 Beautiful South Tourism Awards. The annual awards ceremony was held at the Grand Hotel in Brighton on 13 December, sponsored by Quality in Tourism. The evening celebrated travel and tourism businesses, big and small, with the best customer service, innovation and product offerings.

"Achieving excellence is not easy, particularly in these past years. The strength of our winners is testament to the incredible standards and unwavering quality of these exceptional businesses, despite the challenges." Fran Downton, Chief Executive of Tourism South East.

Darren Seward, Associate Partner NFU Mutual New Forest, Isle of Wight and Bournemouth, when presenting the Future of Hospitality gold award said:
“Shorefield Holidays have demonstrated clear accountability for Learning & Development, HR Support and Recruitment. They have strong communication with their staff ensuring they have a good awareness of the business and how their role contributes to success.

There’s a high level of staff engagement and satisfaction, and employee wellbeing is high on their agenda focusing on menopause, healthy living and mental wellbeing. There’s also commendable investment from the senior team who have been externally trained in Mental Health First Aid.

Their Training Academy based around peer nomination has the aim of future-proofing the business through succession planning and developing ‘Leaders of the Future’; this again demonstrates engagement and further investment in training, coaching and support.

They have clearly shown that despite being a 60 year old business, they are evolving and embracing change, being innovative, investing in people whilst being mindful of the need to be commercially viable.”

We were also delighted that the company picked up gold in the Resilience and Innovation Award that recognises businesses within the tourism industry that have demonstrated great innovation, resilience and adaptation during a crisis or period of adversity and that Shorefield Country Park won Bronze in the Holiday Park of the year category that recognises holiday and caravan parks, campsites and holiday villages providing truly memorable guest experiences and demonstrating excellence across every aspect of the business.

Congratulations to all the finalists and winners on the night.
