Follow the gently sloping timber walkway into your woodland retreat to be greeted by a spacious living area, a dining space with full-length windows and a fully-fitted kitchen. Coppertree is accentuated with copper accents and features throughout, reflecting its name. A spiral staircase leads you to the two upstairs bedrooms, where you can enjoy a peaceful night to leave you feeling refreshed. The third bedroom is located on the ground floor, providing easy access for anyone with mobility issues.
You’re never far from your home comforts as there are a range of mod-cons and stunning furnishings throughout our treehouse accommodation, from underfloor heating to a freestanding bath and monsoon shower in the master en-suite.

Unique treehouse accommodation in a woodland setting.
Our treehouse features striking octagonal exteriors and is perched on timber stilts in the trees of Shorefield Country Park. Combining sleek, innovative and contemporary interior design with sustainable construction, Coppertree House reflects the beautiful woodland environment in which it is set. You will adore the contemporary design and stylish interiors, with copper features that accentuate the thoughtful design.
In Coppertree House you will find an open plan living space with a generously sized tv, state-of-the-art kitchen and three luxurious bedrooms, one of which is on the ground floor for accessibility. All three bedrooms have their very own en-suite for the ultimate in luxury and relaxation.
The spiral staircase leads to the two upstairs bedrooms and landing where the master bedroom awaits, featuring a stunning free-standing bathtub.
The striking turrets, quirky windows and double doors add to the fairy tale feel and really bring the outdoors in. Our treehouses are located just a short stroll from all the on-park facilities, making our elegantly eccentric hideaways the perfect spot for a family adventure and a magical base that’s way above the ordinary. If you don't feel like venturing out, simply pick up the phone in the kitchen and you'll be able to chat directly with our Tides Restaurant or reception!
At the end of the day, simply unwind and feel your troubles melt away as you watch the sun set from your very own hot tub. When you're here, you don't have to be anything else...
Coppertree House is one of our two treehouses on our stunning luxury treehouse development. Looking to get away with more than six guests? Silvertree House makes the perfect accompaniment and is situated just next door to Coppertree House, also sleeping six in three bedrooms.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are your treehouses built in an actual tree?
Some of our luxury treehouses are really built in the trees, whilst others are built at a more modest height, just above the ground.
Silvertree House and Coppertree House are set on timber stilts with sloping walkways. They are our most luxurious treehouse accommodation and provide a retreat in a treetop setting.
The Shrubbery however is raised just above the ground, much like our lodges, and is surrounded by trees in a woodland area of the park.
I love nature, but I'm also fond of my home comforts and luxuries. Are your treehouses suitable for me?
Yes, absolutely! Our treehouse accommodation all feature opulent interiors and are equipped with your everyday comforts such as heating and showers, letting you relax in a woodland setting without compromising on luxury and comfort. What's more, you'll also find the added indulgence of your own hot tub on the outdoor decking, making them ideal for a special occasion.
Is any of the accommodation adapted for disabled guests?
Yes, have a specifically adapted three-bedroom Select Lodge at Shorefield Country Park, as well as wheelchair-accessible Serene Caravans at both Oakdene and Shorefield Country Park. To find out more please see our accessible accommodation page and access statement.
Some of our other units are suitable for those with limited mobility. Whilst not specifically adapted for wheelchair users, our treehouses are accessed via a sloping timber walkway and have one downstairs bedroom (the other two bedrooms in Silvertree and Coppertree are located upstairs), making them suitable for those with reduced mobility. As our treehouses have not been specifically designed to cater for wheelchair users, they may not be suitable for those looking for fully accessible accommodation.
If you require accommodation near to the facilities or with level access, please state this at the time of booking and we will do our best to help find you something to suit your requirements. What are your check-in and check-out times for self-catering accommodation?
Check-in will vary depending on the accommodation you have booked.
All our Signature lodges, Treehouses, Lavender House, Wisteria House and Honeysuckle Cottage have check-in from 2pm
All other lodges (Select, Select +, Superior and Superior +) plus The Burrow, Tudor Rose House and Sublime Hot Tub Caravanshave check-in from 3pm
All remaining accommodation (Forest, Supreme, Serene, Sensation, Seaside and Statement Caravans) have check-in from 4pm
Check-out is by 10am on the day of departure. Note: Sunday departures for two night breaks are by 7pm.
You are welcome to arrive earlier and make use of any of the parks facilities, but please do not head to your accommodation until you have received your text confirming that it is all ready for you.
How do I check in at Merley Court?
Check-in less and holiday more. We no longer operate a reception at Merley Court Holiday Park. All our wonderful accommodation features online check-in with your keys waiting for you securely upon arrival. Here's what you can expect:
Shortly before your holiday starts you will receive our pre-arrival email, where you can register all your details and begin the online check-in process.
On the day of your arrival, we’ll send you a text (and an email) when your holiday home is ready and to let you know your accommodation number, as well as details of how to find your accommodation on park.
Simply head to our woodland lodges, approach the barrier and use the button to call our team, who will let you in. Your accommodations keys will be waiting for you in our secure key box. Attached to the keys will be a barrier fob, so that you can come and go as you please during your stay.
Please do not head to your accommodation until you have received your text confirming that it is all ready for you. Once you have settled in, you will be prompted to check-in via our online portal.
In the unlikely event of experiencing any difficulties or something’s not quite right, our onsite Warden is on hand throughout your stay.
We have stayed at Shorefield many times (normally in a lodge), but this time we thought we would try the new treehouses... Wow... Excellent. We all thoroughly enjoyed the stay and the treehouses are fantastic.

Amazing Treehouse Staycation
We had an amazing staycation in one of the Treehouses at Shorefield. We stayed in the Coppertree and was absolutely amazed on how gorgeous it was. There was a perfect little hamper for when we arrived which was a lovely touch. Beautiful rooms. Fantastic hot tub. We couldn’t ask for anything more.
