It's centred around Tudor Rose House, a five-bedroomed 16th century Grade II listed building once owned by King Henry VIII and listed in the Doomsday Book.

With fun-filled facilities in open spaces throughout the park, the whole family is sure to enjoy a getaway at Wilksworth.
Enjoy the great outdoors with our full-size and junior-size tennis court, outdoor table tennis and dog exercise paddock. The superb heated outdoor swimming pool, complete with a shallow splash pool for our younger guests, is open during the main summer months from the 25 May and can be enjoyed 7 days a week during school holidays and outside of school holidays, the pool will be open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday (all weather permitting). The pool closes on 01 September 2024.
The park's shared shower and toilet blocks are open, however, we advise that you make use of your own 'on board' facilities where possible. Throughout the season we welcome fantastic street food vendors on a Friday and Saturday evenings.
Featuring wide green lawns framed with trees, the well-spaced grass, hardstanding & executive pitches and luxurious shepherd huts offer uninterrupted views of the rolling Dorset countryside.
Our touring and camping pitch price includes up to 6 people (max), one car (max) and either a tent, caravan or motor home with standard awning. we have shared shower and toilet blocks at our campsites, we do however advise that you make use of your own 'on board' facilities in your motorhome or tourer as much as possible where available.
Our 2 stunning handmade shepherd huts 'Baa One' and 'Baa None' sleep 2 people and are fully fitted with a pull-down wall bed, kitchen, wood burner and shower room with toilet.

All Wilksworth guests are welcome to use the facilities at our sister park, Oakdene Forest Park, just a 20-minute drive away.
We are currently not issuing physical passes, however, you simply need to show your booking confirmation or proof of your stay at Wilksworth to gain entry to the facilities across any of our parks, all included as part of your holiday with us. Whether you're looking to try something new or would prefer to take it slow on a relaxing break, there's sure to be something to keep you entertained...

Amazing stay!
The site is well located far enough away from the busyness of big towns and roads but only a 15 minute drive to bigger shops and places to visit. The site is immaculate grounds and toilet showers and washing up facilitates. Shop was well stocked and priced.

Well what can I say, the staff were amazing and very accommodating. We and 3 other families all stayed here for a week, the weather was amazing and the staff we really friendly. Darren the security guard really made the holiday, he was the cherry on top, recommending places to visit and eat.

Great quiet site
I can't praise it enough. First impressions were of a clean tidy site. The showers and toilets were kept very clean and water was nice and warm. For younger children there's a lovely park. We did venture down to Oakdene which is a 20 minute drive to use the pool and the entertainment.

Great facilities, especially the shop that stocks Calpol for kids under 6 years, which is a rare find. Play areas are also fantastic. Would love to come back when the outdoor pool is open. The passes provided to the sister site was great value for money we loved using the pool there and the arcade.

What are your check-in and check-out times for touring and camping?
Check-in is from 12 NOON on the day of arrival, and check-out is at 11AM on the day of departure.
When does the outdoor swimming pool open?
The outdoor pools across all our parks will be open from Saturday 27th May 2023.
The opening of all our outdoor pools is weather dependent.
We have outdoor swimming pools at Shorefield Country Park, Oakdene Forest Park, Wilksworth Caravan Park and Merley Court. To check specific opening times for a particular park, please give the park's reception a call.
What is included in the pitch price?
At Shorefield Holidays we have a simplified pricing structure for touring and camping. Pitch price includes up to six people; one car; one tent, caravan or motorhome with awning and all the leisure and entertainment facilities at any of our parks. There are additional charges for pets, extra cars, pup tents and gazebos. We do not charge extra for the unlimited hot water in the showers.
Please note that we do not allow more than one tent or tourer on each pitch. You will need to book one pitch for each tent, caravan or motorhome.
What is “electric hook-up”?
An electric hook-up allows access to electricity on a serviced pitch. It is a specialist unit available from most reputable camping and caravan outlets for around £50 – £70 and is not a standard domestic extension lead.
We reccomend that you have a minimum length of electrical cable of 25m, as some of our pitches around park will require the full 25m.
The voltage at our parks is generally 16 amp on hardstanding pitches and 10 amp on grass.
Are your holiday parks pet friendly?
Yes, all our parks are pet friendly and welcome well behaved pets in designated pet-friendly accommodation. Just add your pet(s) to your booking when you search. We do request that dogs are kept on a lead at all times whilst on the park.
