Swanage marks the start of the world famous Jurassic Coast, which stretches from 'Old Harry Rocks' at Ballard Down, east of Swanage Bay, all the way down to Exmouth in Devon, (click here for an ariel view of the Purbecks)    Swanage Coastal Park is situated just one mile from Swanage town centre, which is home to a whole host range of attractions throughout the year, including: Walks through the parks & gardens; Visit to the Swanage Railway; Short 10 minute drive to see the pretty village and mediaeval castle at Corfe; short walk to the coastal path.

Swanage Coastal Park is often referred to as being one of our most uncommercialised parks and based on feedback from our visitors we aim to keep it that way.  It is one of our most recent family holiday park additions having being bought by Shorefield back in 2005 (previously known as Priestway Holiday Park).

The location is superb for campers and self catering holidaymakers alike.  Stroll down to the town of Swanage and the lovely beach.  There are music festivals during the summer, the famous Folk Festival early September and also the popular Swanage carnival and regatta in late July/early August.  Venture out by car and in
40 minutes you can go past Wareham to Lulworth Cove or alternatively in the same time you can drive the other way past Studland and take the car on a chain ferry over to Sandbanks, Poole and Bournemouth. We are sure you won’t be disappointed when you pitch up your tent or step out of your holiday home into 15 acres of stunning countryside surrounded by mature trees, with fantastic views over Swanage Bay and the Purbeck Hills.  Amazing !!
