Boiler Loop Removal

Dear Ambassadors,

Dear Ambassadors,

We hope this message finds you well.

Following updated guidance from the water authorities regarding the water regulations, we are asking all holiday homeowners to ensure the filling loops underneath your boilers are not left connected.

This is a simple task that most owners can do themselves. Here is how:

What is the filling loop?

Most boilers have a short metal flexible hose under them, connecting two pipes. This is the filling loop.

How to remove it:

  1. Turn off both valves on either side of the hose (turn the small handles to the closed/off position – usually at a right angle to the pipe).
  1. Unscrew the hose at both ends – it should come off easily by hand or with a small spanner.
  1. Place the hose on top of your boiler or somewhere safe.
  1. If you have caps for the valve ends, screw these on to seal the valves. These may have come with the boiler when installed.

If you are not confident doing this yourself and require assistance, please feel free to contact us.
