Our Guide to Buying a Holiday Home
Holiday homes offer an amazing lifestyle. As well as offering wonderful accommodation in one of your favourite locations, they provide somewhere to get family and friends together and to really escape it all.
What’s more, you can ensure that your holiday home is exactly matched to your own taste, and is decorated, furnished and equipped with exactly what you need to make it feel like home from home. Best of all, you can make use of your second property whenever you fancy a break.
Our holiday homes are spread between 5 parks on the South Coast, and range between small, rural settings to lively, family friendly-parks, providing kids play areas and family entertainment. Due to their convenient locations around Dorset and Hampshire, during the decision-making process you can easily visit all 5 of our parks in one day.
What’s more, if you find yourself falling in love with a holiday home sited in one location, but prefer the setting and atmosphere of another of our parks, we’ll happily move the home to suit your needs.
Your Holiday Home
When choosing your own holiday home, it’s important to think about exactly what you’ll need throughout the course of your ownership.
There are a number of variables to take into account; one of the most important of which is the number of bedrooms. How many people are there in your family, will you be having guests over, and do you want bedrooms which come with an en-suite bathroom?
To cater for the huge amount of variation in what individual people are looking for, we offer a large choice of homes, set in some of the South Coast’s most desirable locations. Additionally, you can rest assured before making your purchase that all of the properties which we offer are built to the highest possible standards, by the UK’s leading manufacturers.
If you’re looking for true freedom over the layout of your holiday home, we also offer a ‘bespoke’ option, where you can redesign aspects of the property. We can cater for a whole host of customisations, from offering a range of alternative floorings – including oak, laminate and carpet – to providing numerous eco-friendly options and under-floor heating. If you do opt for our bespoke service, rest assured that there will be professionals on hand throughout the process, guiding you through all of the available options.
Plots vary in size, and our sales team will offer guidance on those available which will fit the size of your chosen holiday home. Conversely, if your priority is the plot, you can also choose this first and then decide upon a home to be sited on it.
Like choosing a home itself, there are a number of factors to consider when selecting a plot. Do you want to be close to the facilities, or in a quieter location? Whatever you decide, we will guide you through the entire selection process, and do our utmost to find the perfect plot for you.
Please note; site fees can vary from plot to plot. Our sales team will keep you well informed of any variations during the decision-making process.
Our Holiday Home Ownership Team will always be on hand to help. A number of finance and funding options can be discussed confidentially with our in-house team, including ‘buy to let’ schemes and we make every effort to ensure full transparency with regards to pricing and fees, with no hidden extras to surprise you. Additionally, part exchange on holiday homes is available in most instances.
