Discover the seaside towns of Bournemouth & Poole...
Home to sandy beaches and scenic quays, Bournemouth and Poole have so much to offer.
Known for its Victorian architecture and stunning seascapes, Bournemouth is one of the UK's most popular places to visit, and it's easy to see why. If beaches are what you're after, Bournemouth has them in buckets and spades (if you'll excuse the pun). A seven mile stretch of golden sands makes it the ideal seaside location and a great place to enjoy a getaway.
The stunning seaside setting annually hosts the incredibly popular Bournemouth Air Festival, the largest aviation event of its kind. Typically held in August it is one of the most anticipated events of the year, the highlight of which is an intense acrobatic display by The Red Arrows.
Not only this, but Bournemouth also boasts a fantastic collection of Green Flag award winning gardens where you can relax, plus an array of unmissable attractions, from museums to live music venues, all of which contribute to the buzzing atmosphere. It is also home to AFC Bournemouth, meaning you can catch a match whilst you're here if you're into the beautiful game!
Poole is located to the east of Bournemouth and is a coastal town most famously known for its scenic Quayside and harbour. The shallow waters along the coast make it an ideal place for watersports, with windsurfing, sailing and paddleboarding on offer, to name just a few. Coupled with traditional shops and hidden treasures, Poole has much to explore.
Bournemouth has a diverse and colourful array of things to do, here are a few of our favourites:
