Beaulieu National Motor Museum isn't just for petrol-heads!

Beaulieu National Motor Museum has over 250 vehicles on display and depicts the history of motoring through the years. But there’s so much more to discover at this award winning attraction!
From nostalgic bus rides to secret exhibitions, there is an unlimited amount of fun and the ideal forest location makes it easily reachable from Shorefield Country Park or Lytton Lawn Touring Park. If you’d like to a more peaceful retreat, take some time to stroll through the scenic grounds and gardens of Beaulieu abbey and its surroundings.

National Motor Museum
Founded in 1052, the motor museum is home to some of the world’s most iconic vehicles. From the early days of motoring on the roads to the extravagant, high speed racing cars of today the collection features an unrivalled spectrum of vehicles. It's also home to the World of Top Gear, where you can see some of the show’s relics and modified motors used by Clarkson, May and Hammond in addition to behind the scenes clips. Plus, take a look at many other famous cars from iconic shows and films throughout the rest of the collection.
There’s also a vast collection of motoring memorabilia, from priceless car mascots to unique motoring photographic collections.
Beaulieu Palace House
Steeped in history, the palace house is not only somewhere you can step back in time and learn about bygone days but it's also a beautiful place admire and relax. Lord Montagu’s family home since 1538, the Palace House gives you a fantastic insight into a Victorian country home. Keep an eye out for the Victorian household staff on your journeys as they will guide you and share the unique stories and secrets to the house.
Beaulieu Palace House is also home to many unique experiences, for example the Art Russe Gallery is the first dedicated Soviet Russian art gallery in the UK. There’s also a chance to explore secret doorways disguised as bookshelves which lead you to Lord Montangu’s library.
Beaulieu Grounds and Gardens
Explore a network of footpaths through beautiful herbaceous borders, sweet smelling rose gardens and scenic strolls along the Beaulieu River. You can even join the Mad Hatter and step into the classic teatime scene from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Beaulieu Abbey also forms part of the estate and the conserved ruins are a stunning sight to behold on a warm, sunny day.
For a unique birds-eye view of the estate hop on the oldest monorail in England and enjoy the ride through the vast variety of scenery. With so many peaceful areas, the gardens make the ideal place to take a moment of relaxation or enjoy a picnic.
