Whether you’re treating mum to a much-deserved break at one of our south coast parks, or are just looking for ways to show your wonderful mum just how much she means to you, there’s so much to discover in Dorset and the New Forest. Here are some of our favourite offers and attractions to visit with mum...

The New Forest

For garden lovers, it’s hard to beat Exbury Gardens, a spectacular 200-acre site world-famous for the Rothschild collection of colourful rhododendrons, azaleas, camellias, rare trees and shrubs. Reopening for spring on March 11, Exbury is one of England’s most beautiful gardens and what’s more, mums can enjoy 50% off entry to the gardens on Mother’s Day - the perfect treat!

Of course, a firm favourite with our guests and an ideal place to spend Mother’s Day is at the family theme park Paulton’s Park which has everything from wild rollercoasters to adventure playgrounds. Mummy Pig will be making special appearances throughout Peppa Pig World for Mother’s Day, giving you plenty of opportunities for the perfect family selfie.

After a busy day out, mums can return to our Shorefield Country Park to relax tired muscles in a luxurious spa bath, steam room and sauna, or enjoy a soothing massage at Reflections Day Spa, which offers the best in-house treatments and products.

The Swanage Steam Railway offers a nostalgic trip through patchwork fields through the Enid Blyton country of the Purbecks to Corfe Castle, where you can treat mum to a special Mother’s Day high tea. After exploring the famous castle ruins, you can return to the village to discover many of the quaint shops. If your mum has a sweet tooth why not stop by the Sweet Shop or even enjoy a traditional Dorset cream tea at one of the tea rooms and bakeries.
