Coronavirus Updates

Updated 02.11.2020

Following the latest Government announcement on 31st October, we regret that our parks are now closed to holidaymakers and we will not be accepting holiday guests until Wednesday 2nd December, in support of the Government efforts to control the spread of COVID-19 in the United Kingdom.

If you have a reservation with us, there is no need to call. We will be contacting all guests due to arrive with us during this period to rearrange travel plans and discuss your options. We kindly ask that due to the high number of calls and increased demand, that you wait for a member of our team to get in touch with you rather than phoning us. Please bear with us as we work through these bookings on a consecutive basis, starting with those due to arrive with us soonest. You can remind yourself of how your holiday with us is protected with our Booking Guarantee here.

For our owners, the Government website currently stipulates that overnight stays and visits to a second home are not permitted throughout this second lockdown. We therefore ask that you prepare to return to your primary residence no later than 5pm on Wednesday 4th November as you will be unable to stay in your holiday home over this time. More tips on what to do in preparation of the closure of our parks or who to contact can be found on your Ambassador's Portal.

We will be contacting all our leisure members accordingly.

We would like to thank everyone for what we have seen as a successful and safe re-opening since the first lockdown and we are very hopeful that as we were in the lower ‘Medium’ tier of the Government’s Three Tier System that our regions will hopefully be one of the first areas to re-open.

In the meantime, please stay safe and follow all Government guidelines so we can look forward to welcoming you back to our parks as soon as we can.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will your parks be shut due to COVID-19?

We are saddened to say that following the recent decision by the Government, our parks will be closed from 5pm on Wednesday 4th November until at least Wednesday 2nd December.

We will be directly contacting all guests booked to arrive before 2rd December to discuss your options, as covered by our Booking Guarantee. We kindly ask that due to the high number of calls and increased demand, that you wait for a member of our team to call you rather than phoning us.

I am a holiday home owner, can I visit my holiday home whilst the parks are closed due to Coronavirus?

Whilst we would love to welcome you, even just to briefly tend to your holiday home or pick up items, the Government's month-long lockdown does not permit us to do so and therefore our parks will be closed to owners from 5pm on Wednesday 4th November until at least 2nd December.

We understand this may come as a disappointment, but kindly ask that you bear with us whilst we work through these changes and hope to welcome you back as soon as we can.

Due to Coronavirus, if I don’t want to arrive for my holiday can I get a refund?

All 2020 and 2021 holidays booked with us are covered by our Booking Guarantee, letting you move your booking free of charge, provided you give us 4 weeks notice. You can move your holiday to any date up until the end of 2021*.

Should the Government issue a local lock-down in your area, meaning you cannot travel to our holiday parks, you can move your booking to an alternative date free of charge* even if you are within the 4 weeks' notice period.

*Charges may apply if your holiday is moved to a date with an increased tariff period. Please check our Booking Guarantee page for details of alternative dates available. Any holidays outside 4 weeks of arrival are bound by our normal T&Cs.

Due to COVID-19, will your hot tubs be available and in use?

We're delighted that Government guidance currently states that our hot tubs on our self-catering accommodation are available for guests to use. So you can relax, unwind and melt all your worries away in your very own hot tub whilst staying with us. We will be sure to update you should any changes be introduced for the reopening of our parks after the second lockdown from 5th November until the 2nd December 2020.

Outstanding

Upon arrival, I was impressed by the cleanliness of a lodge. It was immaculate, inside and out. The staff were outstanding. I was always greeted with a friendly smile & they offered me recommendations on local activities. I can’t say enough about this park, the staff and cleanliness of the lodge.
