We wanted to give you an idea of what the parks’ opening roadmap will look like in light of Monday’s announcement. We have therefore put together the following guide with dates and details on what facilities we hope to reopen across our parks.
Please note that these are all dependent on the government’s guidance and review, therefore may be subject to change. We will however be sure to keep you updated of any further announcements or changes so that you can plan your time at your holiday home or help advise your guests when subletting your holiday home.
Current guidelines do not allow day visitors to holiday parks. This will be the case until we reach Step 2 in the Government Roadmap, planned for the 12th April. Our trade association The BH&HPA are asking the government if there is likely to be any movement on this issue. As soon as we hear back we will update you accordingly.
The limits on the number of households per self-contained accommodation applies to you as owners as well as when subletting your holiday home to guests. We therefore ask that you ensure your guests do not share with more households than set out in the guidance set out by the government, dependent on the date of their stay.
As a reminder, this is:
- One household or support bubble only for arrivals before the 17th May.
- No more than two households OR the rule of 6 for arrivals between the 17th May – 21st June.
We are sure that many of you share our sentiments of looking forward to the parks reopening and being able to enjoy quality time at your holiday homes.
In the meantime, we hope you are keeping safe and well until we can safely welcome you back.
