How to keep busy at home, ideas for children and adults

Since we’ve all been instructed to stay at home, we’re bringing you some inspiration on what to do either by yourself or with your family

We understand the importance of a little bit of down time to get away from it all. However, a lot of us are finding ourselves with a little more free time than usual during the Coronavirus pandemic.

So we've collated some suggestions on how to keep busy at home...

Plus, we’re going to be bringing plenty more entertainment to your homes so keep an eye out for more.

Many other businesses are bringing your usual social events to you virtually. With virtual events such as pub quizzes, coffee shops and more!

Keep in Touch

We love a good social get together (usually in a lodge or caravan!) but there are plenty of ways you can be keeping in touch with friends and family during these times.

Create a group chat. A simple task, but regular communication with your family and friends is important and what easier way to do it than bring them all together in to one chat!

Talk about your day and what you’ve been up to. Make future plans, discuss that holiday you’re going to book when this is all over.

Or have a virtual hangout with friends with apps like House Party which provide group video calls plus the ability to play games whilst you all talk.

Days out In

We’re big on days out. You can’t beat a family trip to the local amusement park, picnic in hand, whilst you’re on holiday!

So why not pack your picnic and head on one of these virtual field trips:

There are many zoos and aquariums with live webcams in their animal enclosures. These can keep you entertained for hours!
