New Activities at Shorefield

Shorefield Holidays are delighted to have teamed up with PGL, the UK’s leading provider of school activity trips, to give you and your family the chance to have a go at some great activities. You don’t need any experience to take part, the fantastic PGL team are there to help you take part in all our exciting challenges. PGL always put safety first and all their instructors are trained to operate to the highest possible safety standards.

Open to everyone aged 7 and over. Children between 7 and 12 will need an adult present during the session.

On offer are...

-Archery
-Air Rifle taster session
-Abseiling
-Climbing
-Trapeze

Pre-booking is essential for the 2 hour sessions, and payment will be required at the time of booking. The cost is Ł10 per person (Families/Groups can get a discount of Ł1 per person based on a minimum of 4)

These activities are available from Spring Bank Holiday through to September. During term time the activities will be run at the weekends only and in school holidays they are offered 5 days a week. (Closed on Monday and Friday).

Oakdene - the perfect venue

Oakdene Forest Park is not just a Holiday Park! Perfectly situated just off the A31, it has the 2nd largest function suite in the area (the BIC being the largest) with a capacity for up to 500 people. We cater for all kinds of events - parties, weddings, banquets, corporate events and even rock conventions. Our professional team of caterers and entertainers are always on hand.
We are currently offering 10% off any function for 2008 and 2009 if booked before 31st May 2008.

New activites at Oakdene

NEW at Oakdene Forest Park this Summer - Paintballing and Falconry

The falconry will be operating on a Wednesday and Friday from the end of May (Saturday and Monday during Whitsun Week) and will take place in the circle field on the edge of the Park. The intial session is a 1 hour introductory falcon experience (Ł15.00) followed by a half day falconry experience at Ł50.00. The sessions are run by the Chairman of the Wessex Falconry and Hawking Club.

Also available from 17th May - SAS Paintball. Cost is Ł15 for a three hour session including 100 paintballs and equipment.

Swanage Jazz Festival

July 11th - 13th 2008

The internationally renowned Swanage Jazz Festival returns for a nineteenth season. Last year 850 tickets per day were sold so book soon - see their website www.swanagejazz.org.uk for more information.
Accommodation in the town will also be at a premium. Our Swanage Coastal Park offering touring, tenting and a wide choice of self catering units is only 20 minutes' walk from many of the venues.
