Set in 55 acres bordering the Avon Forest, Oakdene is only 9 miles from Bournemouth’s sandy beaches. A uniquely peaceful location, it’s over half a mile from the nearest road, with the Avon Forest a stunning backdrop. The countryside is literally on your doorstep, with bridle paths leading straight into the Avon Forest.

Forest Edge Holiday Park

Situated just under a mile from Oakdene Forest Park (our other park at St Leonards), Forest Edge Holiday Park is set in nine acres of grassland surrounded by trees. The park is well known for its facilities for touring caravans and tents and has also been granted permission to develop a number of static pitches.Forest Edge really is on the edge of the Avon Forest, and the surrounding area features nature reserves, country parks and beautiful Forestry Commission land – you’ll really feel yourself unwind as you escape today’s pressures and enjoy being so close to nature.In addition, all owners at Forest Edge receive free membership to the Oakdene Health & Fitness Club, which is just a 15 minute stroll away (less if you cycle!).You’ll find pools, gym, sauna, spa bath, steam room, bistro and regular entertainment.
