Camping and Touring at Swanage Coastal Park
The touring pitches at Swanage Coastal Park are very limited link to serviced pitch description and it is vital you book early, particularly during school holidays and festival weekends.
Simple, informal camping pitches can be found in both the main park and during the school summer holidays, at Coastal Heights, a sloping field at the top of the hill above the park, which provides fantastic views.
All pitches can be pre-booked but are allocated on arrival and do not have electric hook up. They are serviced by seasonal toilet and shower facilities and the main shower block is about five minutes’ walk away. They are only suitable for tents although small trailer tents and camper vans can pitch in the main park.
This is a grass pitch with access to electric hook up – a dedicated power supply to your tent, trailer tent, caravan or motorhome. They are mainly level and are near to the reception and shower block and will take units up to 7m.
We only have a limited number of serviced pitches at Swanage so early booking is essential, particularly during school holiday and local festival times.
