Nature Watch
Our Parks are all set in breathtaking landscapes and
areas of natural beauty. We would like to keep them
this way and are very much committed to minimising our
impact on the environment.

We are committed to reducing water, energy and material consumption and want to encourage guests and staff alike to help by recycling wherever possible.

Our Waste services are changing!

As from April 2008, NONE of the schedules waste collection out on Park will be sent to Landfill. Instead it will be sent to Dorset’s premiere waste recycling facility, where it will be recycled, composted and reprocessed.

Please join us and make sure you are doing your bit…
Recycle

Make use of our Recycling points around the park.

Recycling facilities can be found at every park for recycling all grades of:

1. Paper
2. Cardboard
3. Glass
4. Plastic (not uPVC)
5. Metals ( tins & cans)

Bagged garden waste may be left at the side of the bin compounds for composting at Shorefield Country Park and Oakdene Forest Park.
The average person in the UK uses over 290 plastic carrier bags a year! Here at Shorefield Holidays, we offer you a great natural replacement for all those throwaway bags….

Multi-purpose Jute Re-useable Carrier Bags

Available for sale in all our Spar Shops and Receptions.

Please note: Some recycling bins are still supplied by the local council. We are constantly working with to improve the facilities with them, however please read the side of the bins as not all of the council bins will accept all grades of recyclables.
